Wolfe County News - Sept. 17, 1971 FORMER CAMPTON RESIDENT DIES IN OHIO SEPT. 12 William Sherman Roberts, 62, died Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. at General Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, after an extended illness. He was a native of Wolfe County and a son of the late Willie and Dixie Roberts. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma Crowe Roberts, Cincinnati; four sons, Mitchell, Harvey, and William of Cincinnati, and Chester of Lancing, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Neeley, Mrs. Betty Williams and Mrs. Gloria Duncan, of Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil Crowe, South Lyon, Mich., and Miss Gertrude Roberts, Cincinnati; two brothers, Chester Roberts, Ludlow, Ky., and Millard Roberts, Erlanger, Ky.: 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at the Roberts home place near Campton by Rev. Gill Sharp. Burial was in the family cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
