Wolfe County News - Oct. 1972 NATIVE OF WOLFE DIES IN MICHIGAN Ernest C. Hensley, 61, died Oct. 9 at his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mr. Hensley was a native of Wolfe County and a former resident of Powell County. He was the son of the late Charlie Hensley of Powell County. Among his survivors is his wife, Mrs. Mandy Lou Townsend Hensley, of Kalamazoo, Michigan; three daughters and four sons, all of Michigan, his mother-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Townsend, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Ina Mae Shearer, reside in Clay City. Services were conducted Oct. 12 at the Langeland Memorial Chapel in Michigan. Mr. Hensley grew up in the Tar Ridge Community of Wolfe County. His parents, Charlie Hensley and Belle Bryant lived in Tar Ridge many years before moving to Powell County. Carole
