Wolfe County News - Jan. 3, 1969 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN OHIO Elwood Dalton, 41, of Dayton, Ohio, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, Ohio, after he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He was a self-employed painter, a native of Wolfe County and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Sharon Elaine Dalton, and two sons, Donald and Rickie Dalton, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Beulah Dalton, Landsaw; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Sewell, Springboro, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Horn, Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Viola Whitacer, Washington, D.C. and seven brothers, Courtney Dalton, Ohio; Letcher Dalton, Landsaw; Lenox and James Dalton, Springboro, Ohio; Elvin Dalton, Washington, D.C. Elmer and Billy Chester Dalton both of Ohio. Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at the Landsaw Church of Christ by the Rev. Willie Taylor. Burial was in the Cockerham-Dalton Cemetery at Landsaw, Shackelford Funeral Home was in charge. Carole
