Banks, a 68 year old farmer of Van Cleve, Ky., died January 26 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington following a three-day illness. Mr. Banks was a member of Breathitt Masonic Lodge No. 649 F. & A.M. Surviving Mr. Banks are his wife, Mrs. Kitty Turner Banks, Van Cleve; one daughter, Sarah Jane Oaks, Springboro, Ohio; one son, Green Banks, Jr., Bethany, Ky.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Polly Mayes, Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. Cora Banks, Franklin, Ohio; Mrs. Lucinda McIntosh, Middletown, Ohio; three half-brothers; Rex and Will Banks, Middletown, Ohio, and Jim Banks, Celina, Ohio, three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 28, at 1 p.m. in the Breathitt Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Herman Banks officiating, and Masonic rites conducted at the Banks Cemetery, Bethany, with Breathitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
