Wolfe County News - Oct. 15, 1971 WOLFE NATIVE IS AUTO VICTIM Vernal Taulbee, age 47, of Union Lake, Mich., and formerly of Campton, died from injuries he received in an automobile Accident, at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. He was a native of Wolfe County. Survivors include two children, Benjamin Taulbee and Linda Marie Taulbee, both of Campton, his mother, Mrs. Gracie Taulbee Lacy of Campton, one sister, Mrs. Thelma Ball, Union lake, Mich., five step-sisters, Mrs. Margaret Tankersley and Mrs. Myrtle Schunder, both of Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. June Jones and Mrs. Ruby Craycraft, both of Maysville, Ky., and Mrs. Loraine Lacy, Las Vegas, Nevada; and two step-brothers, Lawrence and Harry Lacy, both of Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13 at the Campton First Church of God by the Rev. Doyle Thomas and the Rev. Omer Spencer. Burial was in the Spencer Cemetery, Quillins Chapel. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton. Carole
