Wolfe County News - Oct. 1971 MRS. WOODWARD OF PINE RIDGE PASSES OCT. 20 Mrs. Elizabeth Agnes Woodward, Pine Ridge, age 83, died early Tuesday, Oct. 20, after a short illness. She was the widow of William Benton Woodward, and member of the Christian Church. A native of Breathitt County, she had lived in Wolfe for more than 20 years. Survivors are three sons, William Edgar Woodard, Erlanger; Chares Martin Woodward, Southgate; and Herbert C. Woodward, Evansville, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Miller, Pine Ridge; Mrs. Dora Brumback, Franklin, O., and Mrs. Idelle Roy, Independence, Ky.; 25 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren; a brother, Bob Gillum, Melba, Ind.; three sisters, Elvira Stacy, Middletown, Ohio; Dora Hatton, Breathitt Co., and Lula Holiday, Milan, Ind. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 23 at Campton Baptist Church with Rev. William Pack officiating. Burial was in Ledford Cemetery at Pine Ridge with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge. Wolfe County News - Feb. 13, 1970 AREA MAN ONE OF NINE KILLED IN TENN. ACCIDENT Jeff B. Miller, 32, was fatally injured in a traffic accident Feb. 1, near Nashville, Tenn. He was an auto mechanic and a native of Breathitt County. Survivors are five children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boone Miller of Pine Ridge, and eight brothers. Miller's wife, and five of her relatives also died when Miller's car crashed head-on into a pickup truck. Two persons in the pick-up truck were killed making a total of nine deaths. Miller was a grandson of Mrs. Aggie Woodward, Pine Ridge, and the late Ben Woodward. His body was returned to Shackelford Funeral Home, Campton, where funeral services were conducted by Rev. Doyle Thomas. Burial was in the Ledford Cemetery at Pine Ridge with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge. Carole
