    3. Wolfe County News - June 2, 1972 MRS. LAWSON NATIVE OF WOLFE, DIES Malinda Maloney Lawson, 81, of Lawson, died Sunday, May 21, at 6 a.m. a Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington. Death was attributed to a stroke and heart attack. She was the wife of Arthur Lawson, who survived her. Also surviving; four daughters, Georgia Overbee, Oakdale; Ollie Cundiff, Lawson; Ida Gross, Lebanon, Ohio; Lela Grace Miller of Flat; three sons, Earl Lawson of White Lake, Mich.; Carl Lawson of Lawson; and Chester Glenn Lawson, Cardington, Ohio; three sisters, Ethel Christy of Lakewood, Calif.; Daisy McGuire, Cleveland, O., and Ruth Little, Pittsburgh, Pa.; also 30 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Three sons preceded her in death; Floyd and Elmer as infants and Rev. Ralph Lawson. Born at Lee City in Wolfe County, Mrs. Lawson was a daughter of Rev. G.B Maloney and Rachel Bryant Maloney. She was a member of Interdenominational Church. Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 24, in McConnell Chapel on Mt. Carmel High School Campus. Officiating ministers were Rev. Robert L. Swango and Rev. Robert Cundiff. Burial was in the Lawson Cemetery at Lawson with Breathitt Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Carole
