Wolfe County News - Aug. 21, 1970 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN POWELL Mrs. Liza Jane Rogers of Stanton, widow of Tobias Rogers and a member of the Christian church, died Saturday, Aug. 8 at the age of 98. She left 126 descendents; two son, Coleman Rogers, of Portland, Maine, and William Rogers, Tennessee; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Youngbuist, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Lenah Baker, Addison, Ohio, and Mrs. Drusilla Ashley, Lombard; 28 grandchildren, 64 great great grandchildren, and 29 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Weed Hatton of Bowen and Lewis Hatton of Greensburg. Services were conduced Monday, Aug. 10, at the Adams Cemetery in Wolfe county by Rev. Elwood Kalor. Pallbearers were Clay Hanks, Roy Reed, Whitey Wooton, David Wooten and Bob and Clay Adams. Carole
