Wolfe County News - May 29, 1970 BILL C. HOLLON OF CAMPTON DIES Bill C. Hollon, 68, of Campton died at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Application? Hospital in Hazard. He was a native of Wolfe County, a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Florence Hollon, Campton; two sons, Homer Hollon of Route 2, Georgetown and Sam Hollon of Route 1 Campton; one daughter, Flossie Brewer, Route 1 Campton; five brothers, Mort Hollon, Arch Hollon, Cesar Hollon, and George Hollon, all of Campton and Earl Hollon , Middletown, Ohio; one sister Mrs. Barbara Allen Powers, Dayton, Ohio; 48 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral was at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Porter and Son Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Omer Spencer. Burial was in the Terrill Cemetery at Vortex. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Porter and Son Funeral Home, Campton. Carole
