Wolfe County News - May 19, 1970 RITES HELD FOR MARY M. TOLSON OF LEXINGTON Mrs. Mary Magdalene Tolson of Lexington died at her home Tuesday. She was a native of Wolfe County and the widow of the late James B. Tolson. She was a daughter of the late Wilburn and Cordellia Banks Caudill of Wolfe County, was a member of the Campton Baptist Church, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Campton. Funeral was conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Campton United Methodist Church by Rev. Harold Dorsey, Rev. R.R. Patton, and Rev. Ross Range. Burial was at Campton with Whitehall Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include seven sons, Leondias and James Edsel Tolson, both of Lexington, Omer Tolson, McDonough, Ga., Oscar Tolson, Dayton, Ohio, Elmer Tolson, Peoria, Ill, Jack Tolson, Madison, Ind., and Gene Tolson, Falmouth, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Irene Creech, Santa Ana, Calif., and Betty Faye Latham, Akron, Ohio, three brothers, Solomon Caudill, Florida, Darley Caudill, Leander and Albert Caudill, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Docia Brewer and Mrs. Nora Mullins?of Ohio, 37 grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Pallbearers: Kenenth White, Jack Cable, Bruce Thompson, Arthur R. Creech, II, Steven L. Tolson. Honorary: Honor Guard of Boy Scout Troop No. 191. Carole Note; Says three brothers, but gives four.
