Wolfe County News - Jan. 29, 1971 ROBT. S. CABLE DIES JAN. 20TH Robert Seldon Cable, 75, died Jan. 20, 1971, enroute to the Maddox Clinic after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and native of Wolfe County. Survivors are his wife, Tillie Oliver Cable, Campton; two sons, Joe Cable, Georgetown, Ohio and Ray Cable, Dayton, Ohio; thee daughters, Miss Annie Cable, Fairborn, O., Mrs. Ruby Taulbee, Sadina, Ohio, and Mrs. Fern Large, Dayton, Ohio; four brothers, Ova Cable, Batavia, Ohio, Dorsie Cable and Clayton Cable of Flat, and Clifton Cable of Vortex; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Terrill, Campton, Mrs. Dixie Tutt, Campton, Miss Mary Cable and Miss Martha Cable of Flat, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at First Church of God, Campton, by Rev. Doyle Thomas and Rev. Herbert Hollon. Pallbearers were B.D. Cable, Jack Cable, Rich Graham, Charles Tutt, Billy Cable and Herbert Miller. Burial was in Miller Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
