Wolfe County News - June 26, 1970 DEATH CLAIMS WOLFE NATIVE IN WISCONSIN John D. Lacy, 87, Wautoma, Wisconsin died June 3 at Wild rose Hospital there. Mr. Lacy was born Nov. 11, 1882 in Campton. He married Alice Horton in 1902 Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Spencer of Middletown, Ohio, and Mrs. Elmo Harris of Wautoma; three sons, Clay and Leonard, both of Milwaukee and James of Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Fulks, Campton, KY.; a brother, Roy, of Campton, Ky; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, June 5, at Hempel Funeral Home at Redgranite. The Rev. James Fair officiated. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial Park cemetery, Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. Lacy were making their home with their daughter, Mrs. Elmo Harris of Wisconsin at the time of his death. The Harrises wish to thank those who sent flowers, money, and floral gifts; also Rev. James fair of the First Church of God for his comforting words and prayers. Carole
