Wolfe County News - April 17, 1970 RITES FOR WOLFE NATIVE HELD AT VALERIA APR. 10 Linus Creech, 47, North East, Pa., died there suddenly Monday, April 6. He was native of Wolfe County and son of the late Adam and Lueva Centers Creech. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two sons, Arnold Creech, of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Thomas Creech, Lexington; two daughters, Miss Phyllis Creech, Lexington, and a married daughter (name and address not listed); six brothers, Didymus and Lemach of Fayette County, James of Ohio, Onimus of Lexington, Zelottes of Michigan, and Clifford Creech of Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Nolia Spencer and Mrs. Helen Ratliff, of Ohio, and Mrs. Abilgail Russell of Pennsylvania. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the Lane Cemetery at Valeria. Carole
