Wolfe County News - April 18, 1969 ORBA SPENCER, 56, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16. He was the son of Susan Ella Adams Spencer and the late Henry Clay Spencer. He was a native of Wolfe County, a farmer and Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Margie Moore Spencer; six sons, James David, Donald Ray, Johnny Clay, Roger Lee, Stanley Mark, and Jackie Lynn Spencer, all at home; two daughters; Sandra Gail and Brenda Joyce Spencer: three brothers, Shelby, Robie and Kenneth Spencer, all of Rogers; five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Curtis of Mary, Mrs. Mammie Lewis, of Pontiac, Mich. Mrs. Ruby Harvey, Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Virgie Gibbs, and Mrs. Margie Colley, both of Dayton, Ohio. Services were conducted at 1 p.m. at the Rogers Baptist Church by Rev. Omer Spencer and Rev. Grover Craft. Burial was in the family cemetery at Rogers. Arrangements by Porter and Son Funeral Home. Carole
