Hi fellow genies! My main line of descent through Wolfe County is from John Rose, b. 1761, d. 1843 who married Rebekah Bowen, b. 1763, d. 1835. They and all but one of their children moved first from Harrison (now Marion) County, WV, to Fayette Co., PA, then to what's now Wolfe Co., KY. Children of JOHN ROSE and REBEKAH BOWEN are: i. November 19, 1859, Owsley Co., Ky.. iii. DAVID BOWEN ROSE, b. March 20, 1785, Monongalia, Virginia (now W.Va.); d. November 07, 1871, Wolfe Co., Ky.. iv. JOHN JACKSON ROSE, JR., b. May 01, 1791, Harrison Co., Virginia; d. September 18, 1873, Wolfe Co, Stillwater, KY.. v. SAMUEL ROSE, b. 1793, Harrison Co., Virginia (now W.V.); d. 1839, Morgan Co., KY.. vi. BOWEN DAVID ROSE, b.
