Wolfe County News - July 29, 1970 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN POWELL Mrs. Eva Trent, 81, widow of John Miles Trent, died Monday, June 14. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of Morris Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Carl Trent, Mt. Sterling, Patrick Trent of Marion, Ind., Chester Trent of Louisville; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Edwards, Rt. 1, Campton, Mrs. Della Buchanan of Rt. 1, Campton, and Mrs. Viola Buchanan, Middletown, Ohio, five brothers, Joe, Leonard, and Charlie Beasley of Portsmouth, Ohio, John and Lemon Beasley of Hazel Green; one sister, Mrs. Ida Bockman, Hamilton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 17, at the Laurel Baptist Church, by Rev. Clell Miller. Burial was in the Trent Cemetery. The Trent family had lived in Wolfe County for many years before moving to Powell County. Carole
