Wolfe County News - Dec. 1971 Luther M. Taulbee, 80, husband of Lena Lawson Taulbee, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, after a short illness. He was a native of Wolfe County, a retired farmer, and member of the Church of Christ. Other survivors besides his wife, include four sons, Marvin Taulbee, Clay City, Clyde Taulbee, Albany, N.Y.: Hubert Taulbee, Leonardtown, Md., and Larry Taulbee, Covington; four daughters, Mrs. Celia King, Campton, Mrs. Bonnie Marcopulos, Clay City, Mrs. Daisy Moore of Campton, and Mrs. Ada Ruth Mackey, Corona, Californaia; one half-brother, Pryce Taulbee of Flat; 30 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Antioch Missionary Church by Rev. Oney Banks. Burial was in the Taulbee Family Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Porter and Son Funeral Home. Carole
