Wolfe County News - Aug. 13, 1971 Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Whisman, Stanton, was held at Wells Funeral Home last Thursday. She had been a patient at Clark County Hospital, following a long illness. A native of Wolfe County, she was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Isaac Whisman, Stanton; three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Arnett, Stanton, Mrs. Jewell Carroll, Winchester, and Mrs. Freda Adams, Zachariah; two sons, George Whisman, Winchester and Elmer Whisman, Zachariah; a foster daughter, Jessie Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Lizetta Hobbs, Hazard, and Mrs. Alma Lane, Cincinnati; two brothers, Charlie Hobbs, Middletown, Ohio, and Robert, West Carrollton, Ohio, and 21 grandchildren. Burial was in the Hobbs Cemetery in Wolfe County. Carole
