    3. Wolfe County News - Sept. 1971 MRS. ADAMS, 88, WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN INDIANA Mrs. Darthoula Adams, 88, of Greencastle, Ind., and formerly of Wolfe County, died Wednesday, Sept. 8. A native of Wolfe County, she was a native of Wolfe County, she was a member of the Torrent Baptist Church and was a daughter of the late A.J. and Jane Gumm Legg. Survivors include three sons, Otis and Ed Adams, both of Greencastle, Ind., and Jesse Adams of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Euncie Swick of Rosedale, Ind., and Mrs. Lucinda McMahan of Greencastle, Ind.; one brother, Ed Legg of McKamey, Texas and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hobbs of Brownstown, Ind; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Porter and Son Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Grover Craft. Burial was in the Adams cemetery at Zachariah with Porter and Son in charge of arrangements. Carole
