Burton of Germantown, OH; her daughter, Betty Jo Mornhinweg and husband George Mornhinweg of Beavercreek, OH; and seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM June 18, 2007 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Roger Green. A memorial service for James Teddy Flinchum will be held at a later date. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Flinchum, 64, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was manager of McGinnis Distributing. He and my grandma were very close to her. My grandma was devastated when she passed. When my grandma was dying of cancere in last days she kept yelling for her granny. I don't have any infor on any of Nettie's siblings. Nettie was born on November 2, 1904. She married a man named Stanley Hale but they never had any children together. It was always rumored that one of Nettie's -sister's- husbands was my grandma's father but no one would ever tell. I live near Hamilton Ohio in Libery Township. I am from the Dayton area though. My mom and my aunt are currently going through things at my grandpa's house and I will get copies of the pictures I want. I will be sure to send them to you as soon as I do! He worked for A & R Industry as a welder for 15 years retiring in 1974. Ernie served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; his adopted mother, Minnie Faulkner; brothers, Earl, Price and Willard Boothe; sisters, Vina Mitchell, Ola Baker, Vivian Townsend, Minnie Harrison, Connie Brewer and Lucille Jackson. Candis moved to Middletown which is where my great grandmother lived. Her name was Nettie (Pelfrey) Hale. She had a daughter out of wedlock named Anna Marie-my grandma. As for Candis' mother I haven't found out yet. The story goes that Candis's real name was Kansas and she had a sister named something like Missouri Bell.
