    1. [KYWOLFE] Family of Hardin Smith
    2. Bess Miller
    3. Hardin Smith would be my 3X great grandfather. His daughter, Mary/Polly (Polly was a nickname for Mary then) married William i.e, " Dr, Bll" Swango son of Geo. Washington Swango. I found Mary/Polly's death certificate thanks to help from our Wolfe Line Ad. Hardin's wife's name was Elizabeth and they had sons and daughters, as the Bible says. i would be interested in knowing Hardin Smith's parents. I found him in the Breathitt Co. census, 1850. 3. Thanks, Norma-- I thought I had sent in my new e-mail, but everything has been so quiet that I began to wonder. Where are you moving too? Moving can be quiet a hassel. I haven't moved in a long time. My sister says I need to--then I would get rid of a lot of stuff. Of course she hasn't moved for a while either! Good to hear from you. 1. [KYWOLFE] Caroline Elkins Hollon
    2. Timothy J. Barron
    3. Caroline Elkins was the first wife of James Buchanan Hollon, and they are my second great grandparents. While re-verifying and re-compiling some of my data, I’ve come across a few interesting facts: * Birth Name: Her middle name was apparently Caroline. Her birth name was listed as Isabellah C. Elkins (i.e. Isabellah Caroline Elkins) on her 1858 birth record shows. Two years later in the 1860 census, she is listed as just Caroline. * Birth Date: Her birth record shows April 17th as the birth date, while her headstone shows April 14th. So it is a coin toss for the time being on which is correct. * Marriage Record: She is listed as Carolina on her marriage record. I’ve seen a few people list her as Caroline Cordelia Elkins, but I’ve not found any records that list her name as such. Timothy J. Barron tim@timbarron.net http://timbarron.net
