    3. Wanda: I believe Isom was my great-great grandfather; Willis my gr-grandfather and Thomas my grandfather (mother Mahalia Trent, sister to Willis' first wife Lucinda). If that is correct, I guess that would make us cousins at some level??? Unfortunately, I don't have a great amount of information on that side of my family (that I am sure of anyway) other than some "hearsay" and would love to have any information you might have. My father, was Taylor Trent, son of Thomas and Laura Parks, and my mother Oval Litteral, daughter of McClellan and Mary Elizabeth Taulbee. All were from Wolfe and Breathitt Counties. Although I was born and have lived in Cincinnati my entire life, my parents and aunts and uncles have always said I was born out of my element up here and should have been born in the country. My grandparents passed away when I was only 12 so I only have limited info available to me. Any information you would have and be willing to share would be WONDERFUL!!! I love all of the old stories. Sorry to hear about your poor health...will certainly keep you in my prayers. Would love to hear from you Debbie Trent Keene -----Original Message----- From: kywolfe-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:kywolfe-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Wanda Shepherd Sent: Monday, February 20, 2012 7:20 AM To: kywolfe@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYWOLFE] Green berry Brewer Green Brewer was my g-grandfather. Green stayed with grandma and grandpa until he got his SS going. He had left Hannah for Lou Em   ? [Some say Pence but can 't find it] Green and Hannah were 1st cousins. Lots of people say they are the same family. Green is listed when he was little as being with Sally Hatton. Later he took the last name of Brewer as his father was a Brewer. My husband packed all my notebooks away when I had a stroke. Got to get them out. Hannah stayed with grandma and grandpa until Grandma and Hannah got into it and she left to stay with John. I have all kinds of stories. My grandparents raised me. Green was b. in Tn. then they moved to Wolfe Co. Ky. The only children Isom and Sally had were Willis, William, Green and Benjamin. Lots of people get them mixed up. So many had the same names but Green was my grandpa's father. My uncle remembers Hannah rubbing his legs. He had something wrong with them and needed a pill a day to stop the pain. They couldn't always afford the pills, so Hannah would sit on the side of the bed and rub Paris' legs.    My mother was name for Paralee Hollon, who md. Nathan Hatton. They were her aunt and uncle. Our family lived on a house on their land for a while.  After they moved, they had the house tore down, as they had got so attached to mom and my uncle Paris, they didn't want any more kids living there. I've got lists of children, census records and more, as soon as I can get my stuff. Can't hardly walk and can't lift anything or I'd get them. I've got one Brewer notebook here, but it's on the later Brewer's. Hannah was 6' tall. I have her picture with Green and the kids. Grandpa was 5 when it was taken. Just before Green left Hatton. I sit as a kid, listening to one story after another. Still hear the same stories, when I go to my uncle's in Tn. I know if she is still living she is really up there in age. I got to meet her and visit with her once and it was really neat. 3. I'd like info on Woodrow Combs. Died Lexington hospital. s/o Nathan Combs and Sylvania Hatton. I remembered him as a kid and loved him like an uncle. He loved to pick, ~g~. Would tickle me, pull my hair, etc. Spoiled me, lol, as did my uncles. Also would like news of Edgar Kash. Cousin of Grandma's. I have stories for his descendents, if they'd like them. ________________________________ From: Charles Gillespie <charlesmarilyngillespie@yahoo.com> To: "kywolfe@rootsweb.com" <kywolfe@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 19, 2012 8:19 PM Subject: Re: [KYWOLFE] Green berry Brewer Sorry but that is a different one. thanks ________________________________ From: CARTER COMBS <lcombs1@windstream.net> To: kywolfe@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, February 19, 2012 7:55 PM Subject: Re: [KYWOLFE] Green berry Brewer Lynda I have a Nathan Lee Combs, s/o William Mason Combs and Sarah Jane Combs married to a Sylvania Hatton (no parents).   Is this the same Nathan Lee Combs that you have married to a Sylvania Brewer?
