One more thing, ~g~. It's weird, but my Green named one of his sons Kelly Brewer. He died when he was 11. A tree fell on him. I also have a son named Kelly. Strange................. Well, it couldn't be John and Charity. Charity is my line, through her dau. Mahalah and Willis Brewer. I've heard of Dock Hollon. I think my uncle knew him, so it would have to be him. Hi Dan, Your Daniel Boone Brewer must be another cousin. I have several by that name. My uncle just called him "Boone". He lived down the road from my grandparents house. Grandpa was Jessie Brewer s/o Green Brewer and Hannah Hatton. I'm trying to find out who Green lived with when he left Hannah. He had twins, Boyd and Floyd, by Martha, Hannah's sister, then md. Hannah. He left Hannah when grandpa was about 5 or 6. They are descended from Ambrose Brewer's line. I've sent in my uncle's DNA. Just waiting for the answer. It will also be posted on the Brewer DNA group. Anyway, the children of Green and the woman he lived with, was said to be Boone's wife, and she left him for Green. They had Dellla, Stella, and Dorsey. Dorsey was a cripple that had to be carted around in a wagon. Della and Stella visited grandpa years ago, hoping to reunite that part of the family, but grandpa was cool towards them and they didn't come back. I'm trying to get in touch with one of their descendents. It's time to end this feud. I was hoping, when I read your email, that you were one of his descendents. Also, I heard he remarried, later and moved. Do you know if you Daniel Boone was ever married before? Or ever lived in Wolfe Co.? Either Della or STella md. Manford Hatton, another relative of ours. There was so much intermarrying back then, I'm having trouble keeping it straight, without my notes before me, ~g~. Do you live in Ky? Dan, If that is the Daniel Boone Brewer that lived in Wolfe Co., he was grandpa's cousin. For some reason, they hardly spoke, just threw up their hand, when grandpa would pass their place. I think he and Green Brewer had a falling out. Do you know anything about it? Who was his wife? Wanda --- [email protected] wrote: > Wanda: > I descend from this Brewer line: Willis B. Holly Creek, KY. lies near the border between Wolfe County and Breathitt County. I know this because of the Wolfe County Act of 1886. It changed the county line between the counties of Breathitt and Wolfe. April 7, 1886; Acts of 1885-6, Vol. 1, page 1219. This Act makes the following change in the line between Breathitt and Wolfe Counties, viz: "So as to include all of the waters of Holly creek in the County of Wolfe." Dan Brewer

Does anyone know who Emma's father was? Can't find her in the latest Swango book. Appreciate any help. Bess Bess, My Swango notes reflect Emma Swango as the child of Jesse Swango and Emma Trimble (they lived in the Hazel Green area before moving to the Stillwater section of Wolfe). Dr. Bill Rice
Rosina's father was William Boyd. I have more e info in my files--I'll have to look it up. Bess
