Paul was born in Dayboro, KY on January 16, 1931 to the late Walter & Nannie (Maloney) Easterling. He is survived by 1 niece, Glenna (Harold) Crabtree of Miamisburg; 2 nephews, Keith Barker of Xenia & Tim (Cindy) Barker of Fairborn; 4 great-nephews, Ian Barker, Keith Barker, Jr., Danny Rickman & Tom Rickman; 4 great nieces, Tina Hensley, Elizabeth Knight, Brandie Crabtree & Kelsey Barker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, had retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and was a member of the Hazel Park Lodge #570 F. & A.M. in Hazel Park, MI. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2007 from 4-6 PM at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Graveside services 10 AM Monday at the Byron Cemetery on Trebein Rd. in Fairborn, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Paul's name to Hospice of Dayton.     2. Hi, Here are some notes I've collected: Emma, youngest child of Jesse and Emma Swango, married Ceasar McCoun. They had three children, two daughters and one son. They are now divorced (1955). Jesse "Bud" Swango married Emma Trimble, daughter of Shelton Trimble. Bud died of a heart attack at the old home place. He and Emma had four daughters and two sons; Buford, Ollie, Mary, Robert, Lillie and Emma (Wolfe Co Ky History). BACH441 Papers - Jesse M. "Bud" Swango, the oldest son of Samuel, married a Miss Trimble and they had two sons and three daughters, One son was Robert. One daughter, Lillie, married Granville Rose.     3. Wolfe County News - Oct. 10, 1986 John K. Hurst, son of John Nathan and Alberta Kelly Hurst, was born at Malaga, KY., March 5, 1918. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Wells, April 3, 1946 at Winchester, KY. They celebrated their 40th anniversary April 13 this year. He was the father of Kelly Wells Hurst, Holton, Indiana: Garret Lynn Hurst, Greensburg, and Carrie Birge, North Vernon and Paul Thomas Hurst, Danville, W.Va. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers and one sister; Foster and G.T. Hurst of Campton, Ky., and Elizabeth Lacy, West Liberty, KY. As a young boy about the age 12 he carried the U.S. Mail on horse and often spoke of events which occurred then. He served his country faithfully for three years in the Philippine Island Conflict with the 11th Airborne during World War II where he was wounded twice and for which he received the Purple Heart and other medals. After military service, he was self employed as a mechanic, thus providing well for his family. He was always willing to help those in need and will be missed by his many friends and neighbors.     3. Norma, There were 2 John Hollon's and Charity Brewer's. My Charity was b. 1777 in NC. Her father was Ambrose Brewer. This John you have, is a descendent of theirs. I have heard of Dock. He was a cousin of grandpa's. Next time I talk to my uncle in Tn. I'll ask him what he knows about him. He has a lot of wonderful stories. I just have to jog his memory with a name, ~g~....... that gets him started. Then I tape them. He joined the army in 1942 and was released in 1943 and immediately married my mother (Elizabeth Herald) of Wolf Coal, Kentucky. I'm not sure which Green Brewer you mean, I have several in my files.
