    1. Re: [KYWOLFE] Charity Brewer and John Hollon
    2. Wanda Shepherd
    3. Hi, I just got my brother's DNA back. We are a 12 for 12 match on the Brewer/Lanier line. And you are right about John and Charity. I also have 2, but one is a grandson of the 1st ones. All anyone has to do is check the birth dates for them. We come down twice from Willis Brewer and Mahalah, and once from Ambrose Brewer through Charity, then Mahalah. Has anyone found any Cherokee ancestry? I've been told by my older relatives that my grandfather was 1/4 Cherokee. He was Jessie Brewer, s/o Green Brewer and Hannah Hatton. Green is s/o Isom/Isham Brewer and Sally Hatton. Angeline Brewer is also my great, as she md. John William Hatton. Green Brewer and Hannah Hatton were 1st cousins. thanks Wanda [Brewer] Shepherd --- "Timothy J. Surnames: Brewer, Pratt, Banks, Back Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.wolfe/4338/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am looking for a marriage that would have occurred 1900-1910 and probably after 1904. Groom lived in Breathitt Co, bride in Wolfe Co on all know census readings. The groom was Jeremiah Brewer, may have been listed as Jesse Brewer. The bride's maiden name was Elizabeth Pratt but she had been married twice before, first to a Banks and then to a Back. So her name on the Brewer marriage could have been noted as any of the three, Pratt, Banks, or Back. If no local volunteer is available can anyone tell me just what years of records are in existance for Wolfe Co and are they kept at the county or the state level? Thanks!
