    1. [KYWOLFE] AncestryDNA (Hollon, Gibbs, etc.)
    2. Timothy J. Barron
    3. If anyone else has performed the $99 DNA test with AncestryDNA, I would be interested in dialoguing via e-mail to further test the "integrity" of the results. My profile is public, in case yours is already posted. I've dialogued with a couple of other distant cousins so far, the matching is somewhat accurate (i.e. what was said to be a 3rd cousin was actually a 4th, and what was said to be a 5th or 6th was actually a 4th. So the predictive matching is fairly close. The DNA test also "put to rest" any notion of native American ancestry in my own lineage, and it came back 100% European. Timothy J. 1. [KYWOLFE] Photograph of Andrew Jackson Hollon Family
    2. Timothy J. Barron
    3. For any Hollon and Gibbs descendants interested in photographs, I've uploaded a photograph of the family of Andrew Jackson Hollon. Andrew Jackson Hollon (1851-1920) is my second great grand uncle, and he married Nancy Caroline Shockey (1852-1919). He is a son of John Hollon, Jr. and Elizabeth Mary "Polly" Gibbs. Over the last couple of weeks, I've spent time cataloging all records that I can find on Andrew Jackson Hollon and his descendants. I've confirmed the names of seven children (three sons and four daughters): Henry, Nathaniel, Sarah, Lou Emma, Laura Belle, Elizabeth, and Curtis. The 1900 and 1910 census both indicate that Caroline had 7 children total, and only five were living as of 1900. If you are interested, e-mail me, and I can send you a PDF on my updated research of their descendants so far. Clay Hollon's book lists five children (Sarah, Curt, Lou Emma, Henry, and Jackson Jr). But there is no record reflecting an Andrew Jackson Hollon Jr., so that must be in error. In the photograph, the identity of the individuals in the back row are unknown to me at this time. Lou Emma is in the front row with her parents, which means that one of the females in the back row is not one of the daughters, and possibly a daughter in law?. The male in the back row could be either Nathaniel or Curtis. He looks younger (at least to me?) than Lou Emma (seated in front of him), so my guess is that it is Curtis? NOTE: The image is HUGE. The full size version is 64MB in size, so if you are looking for a smaller version, you may want to obtained it from my Flickr site, as the site allows you to dynamically select an image size. 1. [KYWOLFE] Photographs of James A. Sewell and Lucinda Hollon Sewell
    2. Timothy J. Barron
    3. For Hollon and Gibbs descendants interested in photographs, I've uploaded photographs of Lucinda Hollon (1849-1920) who married James A. Sewell (1837-1912). She my second great grand aunt, and she is a daughter of John Hollon, Jr. and Elizabeth Mary "Polly" Gibbs. The photographs were scanned directly from the original at 1200 dpi and saved in the lossless PNG format, so as a result, the images are quite large and up to 20MB in size. The photograph of James A. Sewell is a tin type. I've uploaded the raw scan of the original photograph, as well as a version that I spent several hours restoring. The photograph of Lucinda Hollon was mounted on heavy card stock. The photographs are available in two places: Via my website: http://timbarron.net/genealogy/lucinda_hollon_sewell.html Via Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/100766864@N05/ Timothy J. So Jeremiah Brewer (1852-1913) was 1st married to Louisa Lawson (1844-about 1905), and 2nd to Elizabeth Pratt. All seven children born with Louisa? If he married Eliz in 1908 he would have been 56 already. Do I have the number of children correct? Who was Emiline Brewer that married J G Young?
