Hello. I am a decendant of the Reeves and Tye's of Whitley County, Kentucky as well. I would be very interested if anyone would have any info that could tie my g.grandfather to any of your ancestors. His name was William (Will) Reeves. He was born 1884 and died 1936. He is buried in Bingham Cemetary, Whitley County, Kentucky. He was married three times. His first wife was probably named Freda (last name unknown). They had one child. His second wife was named Elva (Elvy) A. Godsey. They had two children. His third wife was named Phebie F. Wells. They had eight children. I have more information on this branch of the Reeves' family and would love to share. I also have Tye's in my ancestory. Elizabeth Jane Tye (born 1832, died 1911) was married to Richard Henry Alsip (born 1820, died 1904). They are my g.g.g. grandparents.
