I'm trying to identify a Mary J. Petrey who signed an affadavit for my 2ggrandfather Nathan Lawson's Civil War pension records in August 1888. I don't know if Petrey was Mary J's married or maiden name. She states in the affadavit that she was 29 years old (b. abt. 1859) and living in Lot,KY in 1888. She states she had known and lived near Nathan Lawson for 14 years which means from 1874-1888. In 1870, Nathan Lawson lived in Barbourville and in 1888 he lived in Lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joe Lawson
