In answer to your question of descends from Isham and Nancy Croley Lawson. My husband Howard Lawrence Holt born Jan3, 1919 in Douglas County, Mo. was descended form this line. Isham and Nancy were his Great Great grandparents, through their daughter Elizabeth Lawson born ca 1838 in Whitley County, Ky. she married Daniel Wilson Holt in 1856, Campbell County, Tn. which is adjoining Whitley County, Ky. (Jellico Campbell County, Tn.) has a portion of the town that is in Whitley County, Ky. Many people from Whitley County, Ky. married there as it was closer than Williamsburg, Ky. the county seat of Whitley. My husband died Sept. 14, 1995 Springfield, Mo. Just thought you might like this info. In talking to several old timers on various visits to the area, and these men who were also descendants, they all claimed Isham's father was Nathan Lawson and his father was also Nathan Lawson. Isham came to the area when he was 15 years of age. This information was gathered in the 1980's.
