There is a reference to a Rev. Paul Hollars who served as a pastor of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church but I am not sure when. It was organized in 1938. There is another reference to a W.M. Hollars who evidently worked in the logging trade because a Joe Roberts worked for him pulling logs with oxen and mules. Joe was born in 1874 and he worked for W.M. when he was 24 years old. Offhand, I don't remember seeing any references to this family but since I am not researching them I would not necessarily remember this name. I will try to keep it in mind when I am going through my files. If I find anything I will post it to the list. I am searching for the surname Howlow/Hollar/Holler, and know that some of them were in Whitley Co. c/a 1835/36? Would appreciate anything info you may have to offer.
