The descendants of Jacob O. Siler and his wife Rachel Teague are meeting for their fourth annual reunion at the place where Jacob and Rachel are buried, the Old Cane Creek Graveyard in Whitley Co., KY. That will be on September 13, at about 10:00. A tent and tables will be set up. There will be some chairs but bring your own if you want a comfortable one. Also, bring a sack lunch and your photo albums and family tree information. Come be with us for a day of visiting and genealogy. Six of Jacob & Rachel (Teague) Siler's children were represented at last years Reunion on September 14, 2002. Their number 2 son-Weimer Alvis & Sarah Mode Siler had six descendants; Number 4 son-Adam & Mary Brock Siler had seventeen descendants; Number 5 child-Mary "Polly" & William Sands Lambdin had six; Number 6 son-Burgess & Mary Ann Croley Siler had three; Number 9 son-Hedrick Benjamin & Jennie Warren Siler had six; Number 10 son-Jacob O, Jr. & Margaret Mode Siler had thirteen. Forgive me if I left anyone off. Lets make these numbers better this year. The children of Jacob and Rachel who weren't represented were William, John Wesley, Joseph T., David, Jesse Parsons, and Jenny. We'd like to see descendants of these people there this year.
