    2. For those that knew and loved Hermina, this is her obituary that appeared in the Toledo Blade. Hermina was born and raised in Gibsonburg, Ohio. This is a small rural town and rural community southeast of Toledo. It is about 18 miles from my home in Millbury OH. Hermina was a strong willed. loving and caring woman. Brinkmeier, born May 11, 1938, in Luckey, Ohio to the late Florian (1911-1982) and Clara (Kaemming) (1918-1975) Brinkmeier, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2003, in Dayton, OH. After working 26 years at Mound Laboratories in Miamisburg, Ohio, Hermina became active in geneology and published several books on the subject. She is survived by 2 sisters and a brother, Catherine Brinkmeier (Larry) Kosmider, Herbert (Sylvia Haneiph) Brinkmeier, and their children, Robert Rojas, Arlene Freeman and Allison Williams and Doris Brinkmeier (Charles) Adams. She is also survived by nieces, Victoria Kosmider (David) Babkiewicz and their daughter, Margo Catherine Babkiewicz, Laura Landis (Douglas) Esker and their children, Christopher, Douglas Joseph, Caitlyn Nicole and Brendon Riley Esker, Elizabeth Landis (Andrew) Kirwen and son, Noah Andrew Kirwen, Jane Landis Lance and her children, Jonathan and Kimberly Lance, Christina Landis and her children, Alaena Brook Schultz, Joseph Robert Esker and Trevor Esker. Funeral services will be on Thursday in the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Blair Miller officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
