Yes my grandmother's maiden name was Margaret Killion, and was raised by her Grandparents, William and Harriet (Moore) Killion. do you have info on any Killions? Bolen is probably George W.'s mother. In the 1880 Whitley ED #113 pg. 207C census George Bolin age 22 and wife Elizabeth age 19 are living with her parents Andrew and Elizabeth Kerr/Carr. They have a 6 month old daughter Mary Bolin. Also in this household is 11 y/o Elizabeth Bolin who probably is George's sisterwho was age 6/12 in 1870. I agree that the 1860 census would be a good one to check. According to the 1870 and 1880 census, George W. Bolin would've been born abt. 1858. I think some Carr researchers have mistaken my gggrandfather George Marion Bolin b. 4-24-1845 as the one who married Elizabeth Carr. He also had a brother named Anderson who b. in 1852. Was Killion your grandmother's maiden name? About a year later, when gmother was 7 months pregnant, Andy was killed in a duel when his pistol misfired.
