SILER REUNION I want everyone to write down the date for the 2003 SILER Reunion. It's September 13 at the Old Cane Creek Grave Yard, Whitley County, KY. This is where Jacob O. Sr. & Rachel (TEAGUE) SILER are buried. Last Year six of Jacob & Rachel (Teague) Siler's children were represented at the Siler Reunion of September 14, 2002. Their number 2 son-Weimer Alvis & Sarah (Mode) Siler had six descendants; Number 4 son-Adam & Mary (Brock) Siler had seventeen descendants; Number 5 child-Mary "Polly" & William Sands Lambdin had six; Number 6 son-Burgess & Mary Ann (Croley) Siler had three; Number 9 son-Hedrick Benjamin & Jennie (Warren) Siler had six; Number 10 son-Jacob O, Jr. & Margaret (Mode) Siler had thirteen. I listed only the direct descendants. There are a few who descend from more than one line. We had a great time! We had tents set up and everyone brought a sack lunch and a chair.
