Out of curiousity, when you found the Geo. Powers, did you happen to see a Case with them? Tye's wife was Matilda "Tee" Case Rose. Tee's grandmother, Emeline Elizabeth Didama Permelia Fletcher Case id buried there in Beckham Co. She died at 90. JV did tell me she had married a Rose in her very later years, but things didnt go well. Her death certificate says Case for her last name. No mention of Rose. Have you found anything much on the George Powers? He signed Didama's death certificate. She died in the 1930's. You mentioned a Rose in the 1930 census, was it male or female. Could have been Didama that is listed as the Emaline. It said she was 87 in 1930 and I believe it was in 1933 she died. And if she had maried that Rose man, it would be for sure. I'm thinking she lived with this George Powers in the few years before she died. (That's from memory.) I may have a good bit more if this is the George I'm thinking it is.
