No problem to look, but I found no Peters listed. Apparently it is a small and old cemetery. The only names listed as of 1976 were Clara Lawson, Wade H. Lawson, Sampson B. Lawson, Annie Rose (wife of C. P. Rose), and James Siler. There could have been some unmarked graves. Clara Lawson was the last one buried there at that time and she died in 1927. Are there any particular Paters you are trying to find? About what time frame? I have the Cornelius' cemetery books (not the new Whitley Co. ones), but I could look for them. I am seeking : ELIZABETH SARAH/SARAH ELIZABETH (BETTIE) WHITE PETERS b:abt 1837 d: between 1865 -1870 she married SAMUEL PETERS b:1839 d: between 1920-1930 .I cant find a grave for either one.They had 5 daughters,one unmarried who died by 1900, leaving a 12 yr old son with his aunt (his mom's sister) and uncle.CHINA JANE (PETERS) who married LESLIE HARRISON *aka*HARRIS,HARRISON, L.H. ROSE. At this time I do not know what sister it is i have it narrowed down to 3 out of 4. ELIZA PETERS b: 1859,AMANDAPETERS b: 1964 or MARY M. PETERS b:1865. I have oral info.from a decendant that the nephew's mom was buried in LAUREL CO KY. somewhere and when the lake was made they moved her to MILL CREEK CEMETERY in a unmarked grave. I am so sorry it is so long but it is sorta hard to explaine in a short version.
