Lois and Evelyn, My records show that Calvin P. Rose married #1 Anna Lawson b. 8-15-1840 d/o James Lawson and Elizabeth Croley. They were married 11-1-1865 per Campbell Co., Tennessee marriage records. Calvin married #2 Celia Miller b. April 1842. Campbell county marriage records show they married 7-27-1894. Lois, you said that Tye Rose came to Oklahoma. My wife and I have been researching Whitley families that came to Oklahoma. Where did Tye and family live? We've just found another Rose in the Beckham county, Oklahoma 1930 census. We were checking out Greenberry Powers, s/o George Powers and Sarah Chaudin(all from Whitley). Greenberry's wife was named Mary and living with them in the 1930 census was Mary's widowed 87 y/o, Emaline ROSE. I've been going thru my Rose records. Could Emaline be Emily/Emaliza Croley b. 1843 who married Madison Rose s/o Benjamin Merritt Rose and Elizabeth Powers? I've found several of Benjamin Merritt Rose's decendents who came to Oklahoma.
