Hi List! Very interested in "HINKLE" Obituaries & Newpaper Clipping. Also of a Murder that took place in Whitley County, brothers Lonnie and Sye Hinkle. Lonnie shot and killed Sye in a heated battle, Lonnie Shot and killed his brother Sye in front of there father Pleasant Hinkle. Lonnie died January 1, 1949 and his laid to rest at the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitley County. Then also 10 tens later Sye was found dead with a hatch buried into his head. Lonnie never was convicted of Sye's murder and No one was ever charged with Sye death. This all happen in Whitley County, Kentucky. Also a other brother Vasco Hinkle stabbed to death his neices husband {Cora Hinkle Rose's daughter, might be Bonnie not forsure on nieces first name or the husband that was stabbed to death by Vasco.} Vasco Hinkle died in prison of tuberculosis on March 8 1969, is also buried at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitley County, Kentucky. Pleasant & Mary Steely Hinkle and several of their! children are all buried at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitley County, Kentucky. I would greatly appreciate any information on the above names even the other siblings they are: Cora, Daniel, Charlie, William N.,Inez and Curtis, and information on there marriages and children I would greatly appreciate. Pleasant is a nephew to my Great Grandparents Peter Hinkle & Margaret Elizabeth Jones Hinkle {Pulaski Co.,Ky.} Pleasant's father Elisha was Peter's brother they are from Whitley County, Kentucky also.
