I don't think this is a destructive bug, but one that does spy and pry into what we look at.... I would advise to go on the search like google and look for a program called "adware"...... this program will eliminate these kind of sites that are trying to pry into our private affairs.....either that.....just delete this program, and go back in and delete all the "cookies"..... We don't have any alerts locally right now, but I can check weather forecasts for travel locations and all sorts of neat stuff. In searching for ancestor connection, a fellow researcher provided the following information from the 1850 Whitley County, KY census: 1,   Samuel Shadowns, age 54, wife Ciller, age 51, children Ann age 13 and William age 11.  This in district 2-400. 2.    In district 1-519 is another Samuel Shadowen age 55, wife Nancy age 50, children Reuben age 18, Miles age 15, Jane age 14, Sally age 12, Hamilton age 11, John age 8, James age 7, Juda age 5 and Luisa age 3. 3.    In district 1-518 is John Shadowen age 30, wife Polly age 28, children Samuel age 7, George age 6, Lewis age 5, Nancy age 3 and James age 1. The Samuel I was tracing is NO 1, Samuel Shadowens, AKA Samuel Chaudoin, s/o of Andrew M and Sarah Matthews Wheeler Moore Chaudoin.   Andrew was apparently the first of the Chaudoin to move to KY, settling in Green County about 1795.  The son, Samuel O was born about 1796 and married Prescilla (Ciller) Chandler about 1818 in Washington County, KY.  They lived several places in addition to Whitley County, including Indiana in their first years.  I am trying to connect a daughter Emmaliza, born about 1828 in Whitley County to this couple.  She married Bennett Powers 1849 in Campbell County, TN, they subsequently moved to Lincoln County, KY. I have no idea who Samuel NO 2 is, or the branch of the family that he would connect.   No. 3 John may be his son? Appreciate any comment or suggestion. Gene Martin

Hello; This is my first message to the list. I'm helping a friend learn more about family connections in both Whitley and McCreary Counties. Need help from anyone with MORGAN roots. Need parents of William Morgan and wife Nannie or Nancy, who were in McCreary Co. in the 1930 and 1920 US censuses, which indicated they and parents were born in KY. Also am searching for ancestry of Luther GODSEY, whose wife's name was Kate in the 1930 census in the same area. Will be glad to provide further information or share what little I have at this point. He married LUVERNA ROSE March 01, 1876 in Scott Co, TN. She was born December 04, 1856 in Pulaski Co. Ky (Source: Book: Births of Whitley Co. Ky.), and died June 24, 1932 in Sand Hill Cem. Lois and Evelyn, My records show that Elizabeth Croley was b. abt. 1803. This info was given to me by a researcher back when I first started doing genealogy. Since her age in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census didn't coincide, I presume they were approximations. The oral history is that she and James walked 26 miles to Barbourville in about 1822 to be married. I know of no one who has found any marriage records for James and Elizabeth.
