If you look around that area I'm kin to a lot of folks someway or other. My folks always said there was another settin of Wyatt's around there not related to us maybe that’s who you're referring to. To Irene Neal, I don't know what the Whitley County, Ky. library would have since l live in Springfield, Mo., but Mary Siler who seems to know a good bit about Whitley County, Ky. and evidently lives in the area seems to think it would not be available on inter library loan. Perhaps the Springfield library would loan it we have 4 libraries here, and the one that has helped me with inter library loan has been the berautiful library called The Library Center on S. Mary Siler, there are so many Mary Siler's in Ted Siler's book, that it does take a good bit of reading and searching in his book to find a certain Mary, l just looked at the info that Ted had on Howard's grandmother Samantha Jane Murray, dau of John Franklin Murray and Mirilda (Rildy) Siler. Samantha Jane was born Feb. 1860 in Lot, Ky. and died Jan. 1943, buried Ava Douglas County, Mo. Cem. The info on the book is not all correct as l unfortunately found after l purchased the book and it was too late to change. Samantha Jane Murray married Addison Holt b: July 31, 1858, Ky., on 25 August 1882, twin sons born May 25, 1882 in Campbell County, Tn. and delivered by Addison Holt's grandmother Rachel Jones Holt, a well known midwife. In 1887 Addison and Samantha Jane Murray Holt migrated to Seligman Barry County, Mo. to be near the parents of Samantha Jane, John F. and Mirlida Siler Murray had migrated about 1885. But Addison wanted to be in an area with more trees, and from someone he found a farm situated in Springcreek Township 5 miles south of AVA, Mo. He and a friend by the name of Williams with one horse between them rode and walked the approximate 100 miles where Addison purchased this farm also later on homesteading an area called Preach Orchard Hill. While in Seligman daughter Susan Holt was born and by 1890 the familly is in Douglas County. A son Noah Bradburn Holt was born, th last child born was Sherman Holt who died young, in 1894. The twin boys, John Franklin and Daniel Wilson Holt born May 25, 1882 in Jellico Tn. raised their families in Douglas County, Mo. John F. Holt married three times, Wife #1. Clara Cloud Cunningham, no issue of this marriage she died a year after the marriage, Wife #2. Lulu Glass a class mate married 1900 Douglas County, Mo. 4 children of this marriage, Daisy, Clarence, Maynard, John F. Holt Jr., Wife #3. Jones are hard to research even if you know who you are looking for. I'm looking for the parents of Stephen Jones, born about 1864. His mother was Lucy Henderson. We don't know who his father was. His death certificate says Jim Sears but my aunt says that is an error. He was raised by Jones. He was born in Whitley County but moved to Knox County after 1920 and before 1927. THE SILER FAMILY, written by Theadore Siler, was available for sale from Kathleen Stanfield Cook, 1025 Grove, Jacksonville, IL 62650.� I don't know if the books are still available.
