Hi, I am hoping someone can help me with this-- I have ran across two half-brothers that died in Woodbury, KY-- below is what I have. What I'd like to know is where is Woodbury or Woodburn-- I think this is the same place, but a typo error on the Woodbury. Think they both should be Woodburn. Woodburn is in Warren CO (Bowling Green) , Woodbury in Butler CO. Can anyone help me clarify this? I also checked the IN 65 battle history and skirmished didn't count. Thanks so much-- Helen Zuber Keusch personal email gkeusch@psci.net Name: Frederick Beck RESIDENCE: Ludlow, Indiana Enlistment Date: 10 Sep 1862 Side Served: Union State Served: Indiana Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 10 September 1862. Sources: 76 Frederick had a half brother, George Teufel, in the same regiment who was also killed in KY: Name: George Tivil (George Teufel) RESIDENCE: Ludlow, Indiana Enlistment Date: 10 Sep 1862 Side Served: Union State Served: Indiana Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 10 September 1862. Enlisted in Company K, 65th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 10 Sep 1862. Died Company K, 65th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 24 May 1863 at Woodbury, KY. Sources: 76 Per my googling-- there were two skirmished at or near Woodburn, KY-- one on Apr 27 and May 13, 1863. What I found in my local library today on George Teufel was that he died May 24, 1863 at Henderson CO., KY, a member of IN 65 CO. K. Perhaps he was on his way home and died in Henderson CO and was brought to Dubois CO for burial??
