Webster County Historical & Genealogical Society Presents the 3rd Annual History Day: Thursday, Oct 25, 2012; 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Dixon Community Center We encourage the public to bring their family history, church history or work history, photos, quilts, tools - anything to do with history - and display for the day. This year we will have four historical presentations throughout the day: 10:00 a.m. United Daughters of the Confederacy (presenting biographical sketches of women during the Civil War era) 11:30 a.m. Neil Jordan (presents the history of aprons) 1:00 p.m. Spencer Brewer (presentation on his flags) 2:00 p.m. Bob Adkins, President of the Hopkins County Historical Society.
