Thanks everyone for the awesome response to my search. Eunice is listed in the 1880 census as the 7 year old daughter of Alexander (59) and Mary E. Howard(43) of Onton. Sister Statara (10 y/o) and step sister? Cisalina Rodgers (21 yo) is listed in the household also. All were listed as born in KY except step sister (NC). Eunice died in 1905 or 1907. Alexander Howard is listed as Farmer. The person that can pinpoint Eunice's grave will be forever in my favor and I hope they like Texas style Hot sauce. Dan, Eunice is not listed as being buried in the Onton (old or new) cemetery but that does not mean anything as some were buried in the early 1900's that does not have tombstones. According to the 1880 census they lived in Hopkins County then moved to Onton by the 1900 census but her father had died. My daughter, Amy, checked the other Webster County Cemetery books and she is not listed there either. We checked under Howard and Wright as we thought may she was going by her maiden name. Since the Howard family lived in Hopkins County you might check to see if she is buried there. Do you know when Eunice's father, Alexander, died? I found something on Ancestry about her father (maybe).
