I have been trying to subscribe to the Ohio CO mail list and for some reason it will not let me. So I am hoping that this will go through. I am looking for a Patience S. Petty, had a daughter Margaret who married a William H. Marlow. Patience may have been married to Sandefur Petty, or she may have been single. In 1850 Patience is in OH CO with her family. In 1860 she is listed as P. S. Petty, 69, lady doctor, b. in VA. I'd like to find for certain if she was married to Sandefur Petty (he was not on the 1850 census, but was on the 1840 OH CO census). I have some information that state she may have stayed single. Or she may have been born a Petty, married a Petty.
