Hi Gerry...If there are city directories for any of the towns in Webster County, I am unaware of them. I checked the Webster County marriages and only found this one for any spelling of the Richter surname: Elvira M. Richter to Sam'l S. House, 1934, Bk 41, p 161 You may have seen the Webster County birth record for Charlene Rictor on 28 Jul 1944 (#186-90873); her mother is listed as Bertha E. Pidcock. This birth record was a delayed filing on 19 May 1989. Fathers are not listed in the index and the index is all I have access to. Hello Carole, Thanks for your wonderful help. Bessie, Elsie, & Thelma were the names of the sisters of Charles, so I don't think Elvira would be any of them. This would be Charlene birth record. I did check out the Webster Co. obit but this is not the RICHTER I am looking for. The 1930 TN census with Dora & husband Herman is not my Dora because my Dora husband was William & he died in 1931 in MO.
