Yes, there was damage in Owensboro. The steeple from 3rd Baptist Church fell and is in the sanctuary were a meeting had been only five minutes before. There was damage at Brescia University, motel and others. As far as I know there were no deaths in Daviess County. Now back to Webster Co. Ortiz which is on highway 132 between Dixon and Sebree was hit hard. My aunts house has a lot of damage and they may total it out but I haven't heard yet. She also lost a garage and a trailer and her son's front porch was in the woods. No damage at Mt. Lebanon Church that I could see. On down the road there was a lot of damage including a cousin who lost his trailer and camper. The red cross was setting up at the church and was to open at 1:00. No one was hurt and as my cousin said sofas and furniture can be replaced but lives can not. No one was hurt there. Going down 56 from Daviess to Webster I saw buildings, etc in the fields or beside the road. I did not take photos as I was driving.
