Hi Carole, Thanks for the link to the Shelton Acorns. This is my line. I am part of the Shelton Gang :O) HA HA! Not really. I am out of the first son Joseph Alexander and they weren't in the Gang so I hear. I posted a picture of an unknown Shelton man on the Webster Co. Photo page. I now know his identity. He is my 3rd ggf, Wilson Albert Shelton. He lost a leg in the Civil War. He was on the Confederate side and his family nicknamed him "The Rebel!"
