    2. Claudia, I have not been doing much genealogy in a long time. I have been traveling extensively on business. I have been in communications with Raymond Hunter descendant of Job Hunter (Job Hunter brother to John martin). He is the driving force behind our Hunter line genealogy. There will be a publication out in about four to six months. I will let you know when and how to get it. Wes Hunter cemeteries. These are in Webster Co. Anyone know GPS or directions and if on private property. Thanks. 3. Thank you. Ashland: We tried to locate Ashland before but could not find actual cemetery. Thought we covered area but am told it is still standing. Any local historians/genealogists/grave hunters/long time residents with any knowledge of Ashland Cemetery? Between Lisman and Clay should be right for where that family lived. In the Webster Co Cemetery book (in Willard Library, Evansville) there are several of my family members listed as buried there. Waggoner: Is this cemetery located by a church or other recognizable landmark or will we have to walk through fields to find? In other words, will we need permission? Again, thanks for your response! 3. Ashland Cemetery - located off Highway 270 near the CP Church. I was told its probably between Clay and Lisman. Waggoner Cemetery - located off Highway 857. If you go on highway 132 between Dixon and Clay (132 goes on the side of the courthouse in Dixon) highway 857 is off 132. So I do not have any GPS directions though. 2. Marion, No. I've talked with Carole via email several times. She keeps a really informative Webster Co., KY website. She is from the Minn. Jones or a state close to that. My Jones line was a Quaker line that came to early Bucks/Berks Co., PA and made their west via several Quaker settlements from PA, VA and NC then to KY. My Richard Jones moved from NC but when he got to KY he married a non Quaker, Catherine Branson, and I haven't seen any Quaker mentioned since then. They were married in March 1800 or so by the Justice of the Peace in Henderson Co., KY courthouse. They are the very first couple in the earliest book of marriages in Henderson Co. Janet. Wm and Ella divorced after 1910 and she married Lilburn J. Hall-no children by him. They moved to St. Louis, MO-1930-1940. I am wondering if there is a marriage of Lilburn Hall on Elmira Frances Eakins Ligon? And Lilburn died probably in MO in May of 1965, he is buried in Springdale. Where can I find an obit on him? Ella died June 8, 1949 in St. Louis and is buried there, would there be an obit on her in Webster CO, her son Hugh W. Ligon died June 1969 in St. Louis and I am wondering if there might be an obit on him in Webster CO. Wm A. Ligon was in Robertson CO., TN in 1930, I didn't find a death on him but assumed since he was born Oct 1867 in Henderson CO, he probably died before 1940 in TN. Thanks for any help. 3. Dan, Eunice is not listed as being buried in the Onton (old or new) cemetery but that does not mean anything as some were buried in the early 1900's that does not have tombstones. According to the 1880 census they lived in Hopkins County then moved to Onton by the 1900 census but her father had died. My daughter, Amy, checked the other Webster County Cemetery books and she is not listed there either. We checked under Howard and Wright as we thought may she was going by her maiden name. Since the Howard family lived in Hopkins County you might check to see if she is buried there. Do you know when Eunice's father, Alexander, died? I found something on Ancestry about her father (maybe).
