Lafayette, IN Journal & Courier September 17, 2008 Clara E. Kidd, 66 WILLIAMSPORT -- Clara E. Burnett Kidd, 66, of Williamsport, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette. She was born on Sept. 6, 1942, in Wayne County, Ky., to the late William Loftus and Opal Lee Taylor Burnett. She was raised in Kentucky, where she attended Parmleysville School. On March 6, 1959, she married Roger Kidd in Monticello, Ky. He survives. Mrs. Kidd was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church in Williamsport. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and quilting. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Howard Kidd (wife: Kathy) of Williamsport; a daughter, Mary Pauline Brown (husband: Jeff) of Williamsport; and four brothers, Cleo Burnett of Barrier, Ky., Cecil Burnett of Russell Springs, Ky., Carl Burnett of Griffin, Ky., and Conley Burnett of Monticello, Ky. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday with services 11 a.m. Friday at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, the Rev. John T. Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Fowler Cemetery, Fowler. Also surviving are 2 grandsons, Jacob Allen and William Joseph Brown, both of Williamsport. Memorial contributions are preferred to the Adult Learning Center, Lafayette, IN.
