Anna I think maybe the cemetery you are looking for is in Clinton Co., KY, and likely is in the area where Pickett Co., TN and Wayne Co. and Clinton Co., KY join. I think I was there once years ago, there are a lot of Fitzgeralds buried there, and if my aunt gave me a name for the cemetery, I do not recall what she said, and could not go back to the cemetery without help from someone who knew where it was. The United States Government' s Geographic Names Information Service (GNIS) identifies The Sand Cliff community as being in Wayne Co., KY, right on the line. Between you and I, it may be the cemetery is actually in Pickett County, TN, or Clinton Co., KY but no one on either list has identified it. You and I know that area where Clinton, Wayne, and Pickett counties meet is very tricky and that is where a lot of my husband's ancestors lived. Earlier information I had (unfortunately not sourced) said Alice Fitzgerald Rigney was buried in the Fitzgerald Cemetery. I think there may be one of those in Pickett County. I don't have the Pickett County Cemetery book. Do you? I think it is $80 plus s & h.
